Al Bennett - Director of Administration

Al joined our staff in August 2005 replacing the former director who was in place for over six years. Al is a retired pharmacist having worked in the pharmacy profession for about 49 years. His schooling started in 1949. He received a B.S. degree in 1954 and then retired in 1998. Al is happy to follow after his predecessor and continue interaction with church committees and the pastoral staff to organize and facilitate church programs. Al became a Christian when he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior in December 1944. He began to attend Bethany Baptist Church in January 1977 and became a member in June 1977. Al has served in various roles which include: member of the Deacon Board and Senior Choir, and Seniors Sunday School Teacher.

Al and his wife Carol have three married children; Karen lives in Seattle, Brian lives in Orlando, and David lives in Fredericksburg, Virginia. They enjoy their four grandsons very much but don’t see them often enough.

1 Corinthians 10:31 “So whatever you do....do it all for the glory of God.”
