Erin
Madak became the Director of Music for
Bethany
in 2006. Prior to
working at Bethany,
Erin
taught elementary music in
Roseville,
Michigan
for seven years.
Erin
began attending
Bethany
Baptist
Church
as a very young child in 1977. Since
then, she has accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior, become baptized,
joined the membership, and had the opportunity to serve in many
different ministries at Bethany Baptist.
Before moving on to serve in her current ministry as the
Director of Music, she attended
Cedarville
Universityand graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor of Music Education and a
Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance.
She continued her education at
Oakland
University
and finished in 2003 with a Master of Music degree.
As
Director of Music,
Erin
will oversee the music in the church services, lead the senior
choir, and act as administrator of the Fine Arts Academy, among
other various responsibilities.
Erin
was married in 2001 to her husband, Jeff, and in 2004 welcomed their
first child, Jake. The
Madaks were married at
Bethany and have enjoyed the fellowship of the congregation ever since.
